I applaud you for the courage and strength to search for help, as avoiding problems often seems easier but does not improve our well being in the long term. If you are ready to embark on a rewarding journey to the true essence of you, and create the life you desire and deserve, I invite you to my practice. The process of therapy is directed by you and I am here to assist you with finding that direction by compassionately guiding you along the way as we make the most out of our discoveries. What you perceived as your weaknesses or difficulties, can be turned into your strengths giving you the fuel to transform your experiences. I will teach you tools and help you find your own paths to deal with obstacles that cloud your happiness. You will be able to remain present and stable in the face of sadness, anger or fear while tapping into your own inner wisdom. Through the alignment of mind, body and spirit you will reach inner balance and will have the potential of reaching your optimal long lasting health. To maximize the therapeutic process, my work is based on an integrative wellness approach of Eastern and Western modalities such as hypnotherapy, meditation, mindfulness, yoga, pranayama, coaching, cognitive behavioral, existential, play, psychodynamic and drama therapies. I have successfully helped my clients overcome depression, anxiety, stress, panic attacks, low-self esteem, and challenges related to relationships, grief, loss, and physical health. Helping others has always been my passion, mission, calling and source of joy. I believe if one can help another, we can all create a better world for everyone. To make it official, I became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in New York State. I am also a certified Hypnotherapist from New York's Milton H. Erickson Society for Psychotherapy and Hypnosis. I have a Master's degree from Teacher's College, Columbia University in Clinical Psychology and another Master's degree from Mercy College in Counseling Psychology.
