NYSBOTC-NEW YORK STATE BLACK OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY CAUCUS The Caucus will serve as a mechanism to identify, share and attempt to resolve issues that are germane to Black OT practitioners and students. OBJECTIVES
1.

To increase student recruitment, retention and support toward certification.

2. To promote equal opportunity in employment.

3. To increase communication among Black licensed occupational therapists,
certified occupational therapy assistants and students.

4. To increase awareness and knowledge of occupational therapy among other Black
professional groups and the Black community at large.

The New York State Black Occupational Therapy Caucus is sad to inform you that our paint and pour event is canceled due to a heating and ventilation system error at Paint in Pour in Harlem they informed us that they could not host us on November 1. For all of those who have already bought tickets will be issued a full refund. Not to worry, we will be back with a rescheduled event!
