Holy smokes was this delicious. Made this with a client today at the end of our health session. Spaghetti squash with broccoli, garlic, sautéed shrimp, and basil infused olive oil. Spaghetti squash is a great alternative to pasta. Especially during/after the holidays when we're trying to take off those extra couple lbs from all the parties. Easy to digest and simply yummy.

Dinner deliciousness from last night. Mustardy Hazelnut Crusted wild cod. Steamed garlic broccoli. Roasted beets and delicata squash. And homemade raw honey mustard drizzle. So many delicious flavors combined into one meal helps you feel so satisfied and nourished when finished eating. And hazelnut meal is a wonderful replacement for breadcrumbs. In fact.... I think it tastes more delicious. Yum.

PURPLE CAULIFLOWER ALERT! Yum.... If you happen to see purple cauliflower at the grocery store or your local farmers market, do yourself a favor and BUY IT, COOK IT, and EAT IT! Purple cauliflower has even more nutrients in it then your classic white cauliflower. Vitamin C packed....eat your purple Cauli this fall and feel GLORIOUS!!!

I steamed my purple cauli with some delicata squash and curly kale. Then I stirred in some coconut oil and pink Himalayan Sea salt. So good

This was one delicious Sunday brunch. Poached egg atop Mixed sautéed greens with onions, sauerkraut, and fermented black garlic. It was so damn good and filled with beneficial digestion boosting probiotics because of the use of sauerkraut and fermented black garlic.

Lentil soup!! A wonderful fall lunch I had today. Lentils are not only rich in protein but to many peoples surprise, lentils are an alkaline food! In a world where we consume a lot of acidic foods, whether that be through eating processed and pesticide ridden foods, drinking booze, eating to much animal protein.... And so much more.... Sometimes our bodies need a nice alkalizing rest. But the fall/winter months is not the time to do a trendy raw food or juice cleanse diet, because our bodies need warmth and nourishment during this time. Lentil soup mixed with some yummy root veggies such as carrots or squash is a great way to add some protein rich alkaline food to your diet while nourishing your body for the fall weather!! It's Fall!!!! One of the very best and most nutrient dense foods you can eat in the fall is SQUASH! Based on traditional Chinese Medicine, the Spleen is an essential and key organ to health and wellness. It's what centers us and helps transport the nutrients from our food into all of our organs. That being said, during the transition from the warm whether into the cold, the spleen is one of the organs most susceptible to becoming weak. And squash.... is incredibly strengthening for the Spleen, especially during this time.

This is a yummy curried squash dish over wild rice and garlic kale. SOOO GOOD.
