We welcome everyone, and pay special attention to our LGBTQ population, minorities and underserved members of our community. People4care, partnered with Betances Health Center, is a team organized over one goal-to promote and maintain healthy life style of our clients through education, prevention and treatment. We take great pride in providing various services reachable to everyone, but mostly to our LGBTQ community, Latino and other minority groups that may face obstacles in their every day life. Our established program offers various Health Services interconnected with Comprehensive Primary Care as an important factor in one's well being. Targeting crucial issues of HIV/AIDS care, we provide compassionate and devoted services to those affected, along with anyone interested in PrEP-HIV Prevention strategic program. Furthermore, our team provides services beyond HIV/PrEP education, as our partners at Betances Health Center offer full range of medical, specialty, complimentary, and social services for thousands of patients annually. Some of those services are:

Behavior Health
Nutrition

We serve clients from all walks of life, as our community grows and reaches new volumes. It is also important to know that most of our staff members are fluent in Spanish as well, as our local community is very diverse. With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of one of our beloved Betances family members . . . Dr Craig Metroka.
Dr. Metroka worked at Betances Health Center serving our community for over 10 years. He has touched many lives during that time and helped to heal and restore health to our patients.
We will forever be grateful to Dr. Metroka for all of his service, he will truly be missed.
Goodbyes are only for those who love with their eyes.
Because for those who love with heart and soul there is no such thing as separation.
Rest in Peace Dr. Metroka, your memory and work will continue on with the Betances Family.
