Hi friends 👋🏻 I missed .Fit’s 3 year Instagram anniversary... it was 3 weeks ago, oops. If you’ve been here since the beginning, I fu***ng love you. Thanks for playing and thanks for reading. ❤️

If you’re newer here, please take a trip back in time by swiping 👉🏻 to see the many faces and stages of me in the past three years and beyond.

Cute, huh?

I started this blog at a stage in my life where I was desperate for change- in my body, in my career, in myself.

3 years later and all I can say is: check, check, CHECK. ✅

I ditched the corporate job.
I started my own business.
I coached hundreds of people on how to Eat Like a Human.
I wrote a ton of books (by hand none the less, aka my journals).
I traveled the world (including plenty of journeys to visit my self 🍄🌈🌱)
I became the woman I envisioned myself to be.

As I write this, is singing to me in my AirPods “I’m gonna be what I want when I want, yeahhhh” Ain’t the truth.

When I started this public view into my vision and plans to transform and overhaul everything in my life, many people thought I was out of my damn mind.

I was met with criticism and doubt. I imagine some of you were straight up making fun of me and that’s cool, I was making fun of myself too. 😂

I also had A LOT of support and love. Thank you for that. Both sides fueled my fire, no doubt. 🔥

I share all this because it’s what I do- I share myself with you openly so that you can learn from me. My hope is I can be a guide for you on the journey of becoming the version of yourself you envision yourself to be.

Here’s what you need to know:
Picture her, your dream self. Every detail.
Write it all down.
Put in the work.
Keep going.

Here’s to the next 3 years of learning, teaching, and sharing.

Catch the story of how I wrote down my weight loss goals and made them come to life this week on Coffee Talk Live, 1pm EST/10am PST. My friend Avery is going to join me and share her story of healing her body with writing too. See ya there friends! ✌🏻❤️

I’ve totally lost it...🤬😭🥵PLZ HELP.😢
What’s up friends happy Monday!! I hope you’ve had a relaxing and restorative weekend and that your self care game is on point. 🥳
If you happened to be like me this weekend: emotional, frustrated, upset, and at a breaking point... this post is for you boo. 🤗❤️😘
It’s all good, you’ve got a lot going on, trust me, I get it.
You’re building your career, relationships, yourself, and designing your dream life. You’re busy AF and can easily become stressed AF.
Here’s how to pull it back together after you feel like you’ve totally lost it:
THE BASIC NEEDS CHECKLIST 🙌🏻
✔️Breathe
✔️Move
✔️Nourish
✔️Communicate
✔️Love
Let’s break it down and explain each one so you know EXACTLY how to move yourself forward.
1️⃣ B R E A T H E. 💨
Literally remember to stop and breathe when you feel stress and tension building in your body. A few deep breaths will go a long way.
Meditate. This is the last thing I want to do when I feel anxious and wound up, and it’s the only thing that will truly relax me.
Listen to a guided meditation app or attend a meditation class if you’re a beginner.
2️⃣ MOVE.🚶🏼‍♂️
❌ Kill yourself in a bootcamp class or lifting heavy weights.
✅ Go for a walk, take a yoga class, go for a jog, play with your steel mace.
Think easy and playful movement to get your blood flowing and heart pumping. If you really want to turn up the intensity after some gentle movement, go for it.
3️⃣ NOURISH. 🥘🥗🍪
Feed yourself healthy AND comforting foods, with a primary focus on eating foods that fuel your brain and body.
Go ahead and have that cookie if it will put a smile on your face, just make sure you’re balancing it out with nutritious foods. (
4️⃣ COMMUNICATE 🗣
Speak up and share your experience with those close to you. Ask for support if that’s what you need, or vocalize why you are upset with another person.
Talk it out, express your needs, set some boundaries, and then...
5️⃣ LOVE ❤️.
Give it, receive it, be it.
Ask for a hug 🤗 Spend some quality time with your people, family or partner. Snuggle with your dog. It’s all going to be okay.
You got this. Kloveyoubyeeee ❤️✌🏻

“Hey girl, it’s been a week. TGIF. Meet me for a drink after work? I NEED to relax & unwind.”
Had a stressful week?
Need to vent, laugh, and feel some love from your people?
Here are 3 BETTER ways to do it than sitting at a bar commiserating over alcohol:
🧘🏼‍♀️& 🥘 Meet your squad for a Friday night yoga class, & invite them over to your house for dinner after. Share about your week and let all the bu****it go.
👩🏼&✍🏻 Vent and relax on your own. If you’re feeling depleted by other people, spend some quality time with yourself & your journal.
💃🏼&🥂 Go ahead and have a drink, make it an occasion. Grab some friends to go out and dance. After work, go home and nourish yourself with a home cooked meal, get yourself dressed in a fire outfit and feeling good, then go play!
Happy Friday ❤️

Your phone is fu***ng up your diet.📱
Wait, what?
Seriously!! Hear me out on this one.
I spend a ton of time on my phone.
If you’re busy person this thing is glued to your hands. Your calendar, your email, calls, your IG, your texts... it’s all coming in 24/7.
Do me a favor? Put it down while you eat.
Meals are a great opportunity to turn off the electronics (or at least silence them for god’s sake) and connect to yourself, your food, and your company (no no, NOT YOUR BUSINESS, the people you’re eating with silly).
Distractions like your phone, iPad, computer, Apple Watch, they are all preventing you from being fully present in your eating experience.
If you’re always on your phone/computer clicking away while you eat, you’re probably:
✅ Getting crumbs on your keyboard.
✅ Spilling hot sauce on your notepad or reports.
✅ Answering an email with sass because your hangry and trying to shove lunch down ASAP.
✅ Mindlessly snacking or sneaking bites of things your not actually hungry for or enjoying.
✅ Too stressed to actually digest and absorb the nutrients in the salad your eating and don’t even like. 😱
You’re also probably NOT:
❌ Mindfully preparing or ordering your meal.
❌ Chewing slowly and thoroughly.
❌ Enjoying your food.
❌ Chatting with your friends and family who are sitting right in front of you.
❌ Paying attention to when you are full to stop and put the fork down.
See what I’m saying?
Your phone is fu***ng with your diet because it’s preventing you from being present while you eat.
Today’s homework: put the phone down while you eat one meal today.
Are you a busy daredevil who wants a challenge? Do it today during lunch. 😈

Working your butt off in the gym and still not seeing the results you want? 🤬
Hate to break it to you, it’s not as simple as showing up to the gym, getting your sweat on, and magically drop some lbs. 🤷🏼‍♀️
Time to take a look at your diet. 👀

Food is super simple, and I’ll teach ya everything you need to know about crushing it in the kitchen in my 4 week group coaching course, Nutrition 101.

How I dropped from a size 16 to a size 6.
Real talk- it wasn’t easy and it wasn’t very quick. The photo on the left is from 2014, the right, this morning!
I tried every approach until I found the one that works for me. My food philosophy is based on 3 key components:
🥗 Food Quality
🍽 Food Quantity
🧠 Mindfulness
in other words....
🥗Eating real, whole foods most of the time, indulging as much or as little as I’d like.
🍽 Understanding portions and meal timing in relation to my activity and goals.
🧠 Getting my mind right about what, how, and why I eat, and emotionally dealing with the pain that pushed me to eat.
If you’ve dieted or have any interest in nutrition, I’m sure #1 and #2 are familiar to you. You have enough of a knowledge of what and how much to eat, but for some strange reason you just can’t seem to get health eating to stick.
You’re missing #3, the mindfulness & self reflection, the internal work.
*PSA: the mindfulness and tuning into ourselves is the hardest part and ultimately why most diets fail, they skip right over the most important piece.*
Lucky for you, that is the main component of my Nutrition 101 course and the next class starts in 6 DAYS!

Are you too busy to deal with being healthy but know you need to make change?
Come have a seat in my kitchen/office! I simplify healthy eating for busy people.
That covers everything from guiding clients through sustainable weight loss to perfecting meal planning, grocery shopping, dining out or snacking on the go.
My approach to healthy food is simple. Make the best choices you can make for your goals, tastes, time, and budget.
No idea how to achieve that balance and freedoms for yourself?
I’ll teach ya.
First can I ask you a few questions and get to know you & your eating habits a little better? 😊
What’s your favorite food?
(Mine: ice cream & cookies)
What’s your favorite meal?
(Weekend breakfast at home)
What do you love about eating?
(Feeling full!)
Do you prefer savory or sweet?
(Sweet 100000%)
Do you like to cook?
(For other people, yes, not so much when it’s just for me)
Where do you grocery shop? How often do you go? How much do you spend?
(Costco, Whole Foods, Trader Joe’s, farmers market, local organic grocery, go as needed, and ~$75/week)
What stresses you out about eating?
(I want to eat all the cookies and treats in sight. Literally all of them.)
Where are you stuck/do you struggle when it comes to food?
(Over indulging in night treats after stressful days.)
Where do you need the most help with food?
(If someone could just go buy groceries for me that would be cool.)
Interested in joining me for the next class of Nutrition 101?
(Yes, I need some help & accountability right now.)
Option 1: DUH. Send me a DM and we’ll chat.
Option 2: I’m still not convinced this is for me. 🤔 Swipe 👉🏻 to see what my past clients have to say and send any questions my way.

“I’m sorry, what did you just say?”
☝🏻That face I make when I hear all your ~reasons~ why it’s impossible to eat healthy foods..
✌🏻Ohhh I see, you just don’t WANT to.
For some strange reason, people love to talk to me about all their reasons/excuses why it’s *so hard* to eat a little bit better.
As if I’m a health coach that hasn’t already heard it all and could actually help them solve the problem they are venting about or something... if they really wanted the help.
Friends, family, even my clients, sometimes they just want to vocalize their pain points with food and don’t really want help.
I can spot them a mile away. They say things like:
“I should eat healthier BUT...”
“I would choose better food BUT...”
“If I could be healthier, I would BUT...”
Get outta here with those excuses.
I’ll hit you with the TRUTH. 💣
You don’t WANT help.
You don’t WANT to change your diet.
You don’t actually WANT to be healthy.
If you did, you’d do something about it. You’d be open to coaching, you’d be receptive to tips and tricks, you’d stop rolling your eyes at my posts that trigger you and actually message me and ask about Nutrition 101.
How do you get over the hurdle of asking for help? (I get it, it isn’t easy)
Take a look at all your own excuses and ask yourself- am I sick of this story yet? Am I ready to make a change?
If the answer is YES, hit me up. I got you. (cause I’m sick of your excuses too) @ Union Square Greenmarket

One year ago I attended a seminar lead by that changed my life and kick started my coaching career.
At the time, I didn't identify as coach.
I was working in the corporate world, listening to episodes of Barbell Shrugged and Barbell Business everyday, day dreaming of following my passion to coach and quitting the corporate life.
I had no clue how to make that day dream a reality.
At this seminar, Mike led us through goal setting. He taught the concept of being unreasonable and I was feeling bold.
I wanted out of my corporate job within the next 3 months and wrote down the goal to quit my job by September 30, 2018. I wrote a second one to receive $5k/month from my coaching business.
I had no clients.
I had no plan.
I had no money to invest in myself.
What I DID have was a fire in my heart and an unwavering trust and belief in myself.
At the end of the seminar, Mike pitched . He was just about to start the first class.
After what I experienced with him in just one day, I knew this program was exactly what I needed.
But the voice in my head was resisting HARD.
"I'm not a real coach yet."
"I'll never be able to afford this."
"I'm not ready to pull the plug on my job."
"How will I ever make enough money on my own?"..I didn't understand the power of writing down such an unreasonable goal.
After that seminar, the dominos began to fall.
I hit my breaking point at work and left my job in a blind leap of faith.
I received the money that I needed to invest in . It was my last bit of money, the most I had ever spent on ANYTHING ever and a TERRIFYING investment.
Fast forward to now, one year into this journey, I am a business owner, full time nutrition coach, and my favorite part- I manage social media for Mike.
If you want to be a coach, want to be a better coach, or want to expand your coaching business, here's my best advice- make a scary investment in yourself.
Looking for your next investment in yourself? Check out the work we are doing at and come play with us at the Summit in San Diego, August 14-16th.
Hit me up with any questions you have, I'm always down to chat!
