Mind, Brain, Behavior Society

Mind, Brain, Behavior Society Neural science aims to understand who we are, how we think, and why we behave the way we do.

The Mind, Brain, Behavior Society at Columbia University aims to bridge the gap between undergraduate students, engineers, medical students, scientists, and clinicians to form an interdisciplinary collaboration with a focus on neuroscience. Insights into these puzzles will hopefully provide knowledge that can be used for the betterment of society – in part through the treatment of psychiatric and

neurological disorders and traumatic brain injury. The Mind, Brain, and Behavior Society will provide a forum for discussing Columbia University’s interdisciplinary efforts to address these fundamental issues in brain science. In the spirit of the newly-created Mind Brain and Behavior Initiative, the Mind, Brain, and Behavior Society seeks to foster an open dialogue between Columbia’s graduate and undergraduate students, neuroscience researchers, and clinicians in departments of neurosurgery, neurology and psychiatry.
