Ever notice how one cookie turns into the whole sleeve? 🤔
That’s not about willpower—it’s biology.
The more sugar you eat, the more your body craves it.
Refined sugar spikes your blood sugar, triggers dopamine (feel-good rush), and then crashes—leaving you hunting for the next hit. It’s a cycle that keeps you hooked.
Break free by:
🍎 Choosing whole-food sweetness (fruit, berries, dark chocolate)
🥑 Adding healthy fats & protein to meals (stabilizes blood sugar)
💧 Staying hydrated (thirst often masquerades as sugar cravings)
🌿 Gradually reducing added sugars—your taste buds adapt in just 1–2 weeks!

What’s one small step you’re taking this week to dial back the sugar? Drop it below 👇

Ever notice how one cookie turns into the whole sleeve? 🤔
That’s not just willpower—it’s biology.
The more sugar you eat, the more your body craves it.
Refined sugar spikes your blood sugar, triggers dopamine (hello, feel-good rush), and then crashes—leaving you hunting for the next hit. It’s a cycle that keeps you hooked.
Break free by:
🍎 Choosing whole-food sweetness (fruit, berries, dark chocolate)
🥑 Adding healthy fats & protein to meals (stabilizes blood sugar)
💧 Staying hydrated (thirst often masquerades as sugar cravings)
🌿 Gradually reducing added sugars—your taste buds adapt in just 1–2 weeks!
You’re not weak; you’re wired this way by design. But you can rewire.

Batch cooking isn’t about being “that person” with 20 containers in the fridge.
It’s about making nourishment easier than takeout. This pot of chicken soup?
Protein. Minerals. Hydration. Comfort.

Cook once → eat 3–4 times.
Future you will be grateful.

When your nervous system is tired, decision fatigue is real. Batching removes the decision.

Food can be simple. Wellness can be simple.

02/25/2026

Yesterday we talked about movement as nourishment —not punishment.
Not calorie burning. Not weight loss.

Today let’s talk about food the same way.

Food is not something you earn.
It’s not something to control.
It’s not a reward for a “good” workout.

It’s information for your nervous system.

Balanced meals stabilize blood sugar.
Stable blood sugar lowers stress signals.
Lower stress signals support hormones, mood, and sleep.

When you stop treating your body like a project and start treating it like a partnership, everything changes.

Move to regulate.
Eat to restore.
Live from balance — not control.

If this resonates, tell me —
have you ever thought about food as nervous system support rather than weight management?

02/24/2026

I have to admit it… every time I want to sit it out, but move instead, I always feel better.

When your mood is off.
When cravings are loud.
When you feel puffy, foggy, tired.

Movement isn’t punishment.
It’s regulation.

10–20 minutes.
Lift something. Walk outside. Breathe deeper.

Watch what shifts. ✨

Join us at beautiful Driftwood Ranch — a private ranch in upstate New York, just two hours outside NYC — for a women’s wellness retreat designed to help you truly reset.

This isn’t about detoxes or extremes.

It’s about recalibrating your nervous system, nourishing your body, and reconnecting with yourself.

Your weekend includes:

• Luxury lodging in a peaceful, expansive setting

• Curated, nutrient-dense meals that leave you energized (not restricted)

• Yoga + Pilates to strengthen and restore

• Nutrition and wellness coaching to support sustainable change

• And space. Real space. To breathe.

You’ll hike, wander, feed the longhorns, and have unstructured time to just be — without tending to anyone else.

Every element is intentional. Grounding. Supportive. Restorative.

A Different Kind Of Valentine's Gift

A Different Kind Of Valentine's Gift

You are the one everyone counts on. You hold your family together. You show up for your partner. You support your aging parents. You lead at work.

02/11/2026

Batch cooking isn’t about being “that organized person.”
It’s about protecting your energy during the week.

This no-bean turkey chili took one focused hour.

Now I have:
✔ Protein ready
✔ Blood sugar support
✔ Quick lunches
✔ A dinner backup
✔ One less decision to make when I’m tired

The real work isn’t cooking.
The real work is being exhausted, overly hungry, and reaching for what’s convenient instead of what supports you.

When you prep ahead, you remove decision fatigue — and that’s where consistency lives.

Future you will always thank present you.

What’s one thing you can batch cook this week?

My Story

I’m Amy Salman, and I want to give you the gift of health! A gift I’ve given myself and now share passionately with others. I was suffering with chronic illness since the age of 12, and today live free from all unmanageable symptoms and unnecessary medications. My journey started at a young age. After my mother's sudden passing at age 10, I started suffering with debilitating stomach pains and digestive disorders at age 12. I had painful attacks on a regular basis that lasted hours at a time. This became my new normal way of life and something I thought I had to tolerate. After college, the attacks increased to several times a day. I was put through a series of tests and elimination diets by doctors, and initially diagnosed with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). With my new found diagnosis and medications, I was sent on my way. I soon moved to NYC to start my corporate life. The painful attacks continued, along with a host of other health issues. Each new doctor's visit was accompanied by a new pill. I now had a cocktail of medications that were only masking my symptoms. Eventually, I was diagnosed with Hashimoto’s disease, an autoimmune disorder that attacks the thyroid. Suffering with brain fogginess, swelling in the face, muscle aches and pains, belly bloating, and extreme fatigue, I thought medication would finally be the answer. Once again, medication did not alleviate my symptoms. I started to question the role of diet and how it was affecting my health, my doctor said food had nothing to do with it. I questioned that. After bouncing around from doctor to doctor desperate for help, I received no concrete results or answers. I was left emotionally distressed and exhausted. At this point, with no other options, I decided to take my health into my own hands. I made significant changes in the way I was eating and living, and saw my symptoms begin to lift within two weeks. After a couple of months, I was able to taper off all unnecessary medications as well. Now, I want to give you the gift of health! At The Wellness Map, I will share the simple steps that took my life from illness to wellness, and help you create your personal "Wellness Map" for vibrant health and vitality. Whether you've been diagnosed with an autoimmune disease or other chronic illness, want to increase sleep and energy, reduce stress and food cravings, shed unwanted pounds, or live a happier, healthier life, you're in the perfect place!
