💧Blocked Tear Ducts 💧

📣 Common in newborn babies, blocked tear ducts occur when the tears pool in the eyes because they can’t properly drain through the duct to the nose. If the tears sit long enough, the eyes can become yellow and crusty.

📣 In addition to keeping the area clean using a warm wet cotton ball, gauze, or paper towel, nasolacrimal duct massages are also a helpful treatment method. See the third slide for instructions!

We're seeing more teens in our office develop side effects after using multi-step routines that disrupt the natural skin barrier. In turn, they add more steps to their routine to combat the side effects, further worsening the issue.
