Committee to Defend Immigrants and Muslims Defend immigrants and muslims in the face of racist attacks from the government, racist groups, or individuals.

The purpose of this committee is to organize students, workers, and teachers to defend immigrants and muslims in the face of racist attacks from the government, racist groups, or individuals. This will be done by:
-Collecting and disseminating resources regarding immigrants rights and legal services.
-Building a rapid response network able to mobilize students, workers, and teachers in defense of immigrants and Muslims should the need arise.
-Creating contacts with labor unions, community/political organizations, college campuses, and individuals who are willing to defend immigrants and Muslims.

On Friday, April 12, join the CUNY Internationalist Clubs and Committee to Defend Immigrants and Muslims at Hunter College for a Teach-In on the topic of immigration. Hear from a variety of speakers about the experiences and obstacles faced by immigrants. The Teach-In will cover the specific oppression of le***an, gay and trans immigrants, black immigrants, immigrant workers and much more. Come with questions and comments about the defense of immigrants this Friday from 1:30-5:00PM in the Lang Theater on the 4th floor of Hunter North.
