Dr. Michael Ghalchi is triple board certified in internal medicine, cardiovascular disease, and nuclear cardiology, and is the founder of Manhattan Cardiovascular Associates. He is active in medical research and product development – he has published articles in peer reviewed journals including The Journal of Invasive Cardiology and Echocardiography, and is currently developing an innovative data-driven diagnostic and treatment algorithm to prevent strokes in at-risk patients. Dr. Ghalchi is also a highly regarded educator – he teaches courses to medical students at the NYU School of Medicine, supervises residents and fellows at the NYU Langone Medical Center and Lenox Hill Hospital, and has been a facilitator at the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute. He also serves as a judge and mentor to high school students through his involvement with the New York City Science and Engineering Fair. Pursuing his interest in cardiovascular disease prevention, Dr. Ghalchi holds advisory positions on multiple local and national organizations. He serves on the advisory board of Off the Scale, a population health management platform charged with reducing the incidence of preventable disease, is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology, and is on the medical advisory committee of the American Heart Association.
