During these tragic times, we must put effort into our mental and emotional well-being so that we can continue to show up and take cosncious care of the world around us. The road ahead remains long and the suffering being inflicted upon our fellow friends, families, and citizens will require much care and healing.
Mindfulness meditation is about taking conscious time to find rest and peace within oursevles amongst the turbulence of a human life. It helps us find balance, manage our lives with more thoughtfulness, and shift our perspectives of who we are, what we truly value, and how we find purpose.
Stress relief, better sleep, improved focus, emotional regulation -- These are the lived realizations of this practice, the practice in action, which allows us to participate in the world more consciously and lovingly.
