Today is a special day for us at Majestic Funeral Services. Today we celebrate, as a family and as Catholics, the Feast Day of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. We were honored to donate the flower crowns on the statue of Our Lady at Our Lady of Grace Church in Howard Beach, Queens, that was donated In Loving Memory of Antoinette Guzzo and Fran Mestrandrea. Happy Father’s Day to all Dads living and deceased, especially to the hardest working man I know, Robert J. Mestrandrea, Sr. For over 30 years, my father has helped guide families through their hardest days with grace, patience, and dignity. The care he gives to others in their most vulnerable moments speaks volumes about the kind of father and human being he is.

Whether that be helping a Child bury their Parent, a Parent bury their Child, or going out of his way so a forgotten Veteran can have Military Honors, there is always compassion and empathy. I’m proud to call him my mentor and Father.
