TBHC’s back-to-school drive was created in 2018 to help ensure the children in our community are set up for success in the school year ahead!

Named for our beloved, late colleague Ed Becote, who was one of the drive’s biggest advocates, our backpack and school supply drive has raised thousands of dollars over the years, all going directly toward supplies for children in nearby shelters.

This year’s drive, held on August 27th, was no exception. We’re proud to announce that we raised over $5,000 and packed 500 bags with supplies and other useful items! Attendees were also treated to face painting, Italian ices and music.

As always, it was a special day of honoring Ed and giving back!
