As we prepare to welcome Endometriosis Awareness Month this March, we’re proud to begin by highlighting our partnership with Endo Black for the upcoming Healing Through the Arts event 💛

This collaboration reflects a shared mission: improving access to timely, high-quality endometriosis care for communities that have historically faced longer diagnostic delays, barriers to treatment, and underrepresentation in research. Together, we’re working to raise awareness, provide meaningful education, and help patients feel seen, heard, and believed in their journey to healing.

Join us for this powerful, community-centered experience that uplifts Black and brown patients through art, conversation, and connection.

The pelvic floor is a group of muscles most people are never taught about — until something starts to hurt.

When these muscles become tight, guarded, or inflamed, they can cause:

• Pelvic pain
• Pain with sitting or exercise
• Pain with intimacy
• Urinary urgency or frequency

Pelvic pain is not always coming from an organ.
Sometimes it’s coming from the muscles and nerves that surround them.

And that changes how treatment should look.

Patient advocacy. Expert insight. Real-time connection. 💛

PRM patient and advocate Taylor Heaton, founder of Mom on the Spectrum, is bringing her community into an important conversation about endometriosis.

In her newest YouTube premiere, Taylor sits down with PRM's Endometriosis Excision Surgeon, Dr. Amro Elfeky, to talk diagnosis, treatment options, and how patients can advocate for themselves after years of being dismissed.

✨ PRM providers will be in the live chat during the premiere answering questions and engaging directly with the community in real time.

🗓 Feb 25 • 2 PM CT
🎥 Watch on Taylor’s YouTube channel: https://bit.ly/47b3wzU

We’re honored to support her mission and help bring this education to the patients who need it most.

For so many people living with pelvic pain, the hardest part isn’t just the symptoms, it’s the dismissal.

Being told it’s normal.
Being told it’s stress.
Being told the scans are fine.

And slowly starting to question your own body.

This is your reminder: your pain was real the whole time.
You were never “too sensitive.”
You were never “making it up.”
You were never asking for too much.

You were asking to be heard. 🤍

We stand with every patient who spent years searching for answers, every person who was told to wait, and every voice that is still fighting to be believed.

We see you. We hear you. We believe you.

Myth: Pelvic pain is only related to your cycle.

Pelvic pain can happen at any time, not just during a period. Many people notice symptoms when they’re sitting for long stretches, exercising, using the bathroom, or even during times of increased stress.

That’s because the pelvis is home to muscles, nerves, joints, and organs that all work together. When one part becomes irritated or sensitive, it can affect daily activities far beyond one time of the month.

Understanding your triggers is an important step toward understanding your body. For many people, the pattern of their pain has nothing to do with their cycle, and everything to do with how these systems are functioning together.

If you’ve been living with pelvic pain for a while, you might notice something weird, small movements feel harder, little aches feel bigger, and even things you’ve done a hundred times before can suddenly feel different.

That’s because long-term pain doesn’t just sit in your body, it changes how your brain experiences movement and tension. Your muscles can tighten without you realizing it, and your nervous system stays on high alert, trying to protect you.

It can be frustrating, and it can feel like your body is working against you, but it’s really just doing its best 🌱.

Understanding this connection is the first step to finding ways to move, breathe, and care for yourself in a way that actually helps ✨

So many of us were taught that we have to push through,
to prove how much pain we’re in,
to justify needing help,
to wait until things are “bad enough.”

But pelvic pain doesn’t have a worthiness test.
And neither do you.

You don’t have to:
• minimize your symptoms
• delay care
• explain your exhaustion
• earn someone’s belief

Rest is not a reward.
Care is not a privilege.
Answers are not something you have to fight for.

Inside this community, we unlearn that together 🤍
You are already worthy, on the hard days, the flare days, and the days no one else sees.

Tag a warrior who needs this reminder today.
