2016. my 4th year in NYC, and last one working in my career museum job that i had worked so hard for. it was so stressful it was making me sick with never ending Costochondritis. my body was shutting down and i knew i was teetering on the edge of a scary precipice if i continued much further.

it was the year i started offering breathwork circles and 1:1 sessions too! and began working as a healer and herbalist, an exciting, thrilling and scary path that i knew i had to pursue. my life felt open in a new way. it was such a brave year with high highs and low lows. a true death of an old life, rebirth into a new.

i do miss the optimism that was more present at the time in the face of well, you know. before, you know. sigh. but, i’m glad i made the choices i did—thanks past me 😜

i made this video a while back, and i thought i’d share again. (i’m not a video editor but i did my best!)

this is a somatic practice to clear the mind and discharge emotions that i’d done for years. my teacher showed me, and if you’ve done EMDR/RET this will be familiar.
