After working with 500+ women, the same patterns show up again and again.

Women aren’t failing because they lack discipline.

They’re stuck because they’ve never been taught the foundations that actually support hormones and metabolism.

Most women I work with are:

• under-eating
• relying on processed “high-protein” foods
• skipping real meals
• overthinking tiny nutrition details

Meanwhile the body responds by slowing metabolism and destabilizing blood sugar.

Another pattern I see often is relying on ultra-processed foods with added protein.

Many of these products are marketed as “high protein,” but when you look closer the nutrition can look something like:

10g protein
20g fat
15g added sugar

plus a long list of additives and stabilizers.

A protein powder here and there is completely fine.

But if most of your “protein” is coming from bars, cookies, cereals, and packaged snacks, your body is missing the nutrients that come from real protein sources like eggs, fish, poultry, yogurt, and meat.

Inside my FLOW Functional Nutrition Program, we rebuild these foundations so your body can finally respond the way it’s supposed to.

If you’re tired of guessing what to eat or feeling stuck in your progress…

Why it feels like your body gets revenge on you every luteal phase.

Cravings hit harder.
You feel bloated.
Your mood swings.
And suddenly food feels chaotic even though you were doing “so good” the weeks before.

Most women think the luteal phase is the problem.

It’s not.

What actually causes the PMS spiral is the lack of foundations the other three weeks of the month.

Poor sleep.
Blood sugar instability.
Under-fueling.
Too much coffee and not enough real nourishment.

So when your hormones shift during the luteal phase, your body finally pushes back.

And that’s when the cravings, mood swings, and binge cycles show up.

The difference between women who struggle every month and women who feel stable through their cycle isn’t discipline.

It’s strategy.

Inside my FLOW Functional Nutrition program I help women build the exact foundations their hormones need:

Foundations
Living cyclically
Optimizing with root-cause lab testing
Wellness that actually works

This is how we stabilize blood sugar, support hormones, and make the luteal phase feel calm instead of chaotic.

I’ve worked with 500+ women and when these systems are in place, everything about food and your cycle gets easier.

If the week before your period feels like it ruins all your progress every month, this is exactly what we fix inside FLOW.

Comment FLOW if luteal cravings take over your appetite every month.

I’ll send you the application to work together and beat PMS hunger for goooood. I offer a free 20-minute consultation call if you want to talk through your symptoms first.

The luteal phase can honestly feel like a complete mind f*ck for appetite.

One week you feel totally fine eating lighter meals.

Then suddenly the week before your period it feels like you want everything in your kitchen.

Most women assume this means they lost discipline.

But what’s actually happening is your metabolism increases and your body needs more energy during the luteal phase.

Most women need 100–400 extra calories per day in this phase.

When that extra fuel isn’t planned for earlier in the day, cravings usually show up later at night.

Which is why so many women end up stuck in the cycle of:

eat something sweet → feel guilty → promise yourself next month will be different.

I know this cycle personally.

I used to try to stick to my copy-and-paste breakfast and lunch… then completely fail at dinner because I wasn’t honoring my hunger during this phase.

Next thing I knew I was scrolling food feeds, saving dessert recipes, and wanting Nutella and ice cream.

Once you understand how appetite shifts across your cycle, that chaotic week before your period becomes dramatically easier to navigate.

This is exactly what I help women do inside my FLOW Functional Nutrition 1:1 coaching program.

Because when you work with your hormones instead of against them, everything about food starts to feel easier.
