We were honored to welcome Lazard Ltd Work For Good volunteers to the National Kidney Foundation for a truly meaningful Drive for Dialysis event. Dialysis is not only physically demanding, but often emotionally and mentally exhausting as well. It’s moments like these that remind us how powerful community support can be. Together, volunteers assembled thoughtful care packages filled with comfort items, each one created with intention to bring a small sense of ease, care, and encouragement to patients during their treatments.

What made this day especially meaningful is that it took place during Donate Life Month, a time dedicated to honoring the lifesaving impact of organ donation and raising awareness for the millions affected by kidney disease.

We are incredibly grateful to every volunteer who showed up with compassion, energy, and a genuine desire to give back. Your willingness to support the kidney community in such a hands-on and heartfelt way does not go unnoticed. 🧡

Happy Donate Life Month! 💙💚

We were honored to kick off the month at a flag-raising ceremony at Westchester Medical Center, alongside members of the transplant community. The event was a powerful tribute to the life-saving impact of organ donation and transplantation.

One of the most moving moments was hearing from a living heart transplant recipient, whose story served as a heartfelt reminder of the lives forever changed through the gift of donation.

It was inspiring to see so many people come together in support of this effort —raising awareness, celebrating life, and standing united for those still waiting. Moments like these truly reflect the strength of this community and the importance of continuing to advocate for organ donation.

April is National Stress Awareness Month 🧡

Stress doesn’t just affect your mind, it can take a serious toll on your body, including your kidneys. Increased stress can raise blood pressure and put added strain on kidney function, making stress management more important than ever.

Take a moment for yourself this month. Whether it’s a walk outside, deep breathing, or simply slowing down, small steps can make a big impact on your overall health.
