UnionDerm is located in a state-of-the-art 9,000 square foot full-floor facility, in a landmark building in the heart of Union Square. Our facility was designed by the internationally acclaimed architectural firm Studio a+i in a stylish, loft-like space with treetop views of Union Square Park. The facility offers well-appointed treatment rooms equipped with more than 25 state-of-the-art lasers and energy devices, a private internal lounge for surgery patients, Italian furniture in a partnership with Cassina/Cappellini, and Wi-Fi accessibility throughout the patient areas. In addition to the latest lasers and treatment technologies, we employ state-of-the-art information technology for medical records, patient scheduling and prescription management.

2025 was a remarkable year at UnionDerm! Across four state-of-the-art locations, our 12 board-certified dermatologists continued to set the standard for expert, patient-centered care. We launched advanced tools like the Folix hair laser and new body handpieces for AviClear and Sofwave, contributed to groundbreaking research, presented at top conferences, and were featured in leading media outlets—from Vogue and Allure to CNN and Good Morning America.

What’s Dr. Humphrey’s Healthy Skin Tip? Moisturize, moisturize, then moisturize some more! Year-round, but especially as the colder months set in, regular use of a thick moisturizer helps strengthen the skin barrier, lock in hydration, and prevent dryness and irritation. Healthy skin starts with a strong barrier!

Healthy Skin Month might be over, but we’re not done sharing our favorite tips. As a board-certified dermatologist at UnionDerm, I’m passionate about helping patients protect and maintain healthy skin every day. My tip: wear sunscreen year-round. Even on cloudy or chilly days, UVA and UVB rays can damage your skin, accelerate aging, and increase the risk of skin cancer. Make it part of your daily routine, rain or shine — your future self will thank you.

Last weekend at the ASDS Meeting in Chicago, the UnionDerm team showed up in full force—sharing our work, learning from colleagues, and staying at the forefront of dermatologic innovation.

We presented on everything from advanced contouring techniques and male facial aesthetics to new approaches in acne-scar treatment and the latest developments in skin tightening. Some of us even took a Chicago River architecture tour!

Proud of our team and excited to bring this knowledge back to our patients.

The results speak for themselves. This patient underwent four FOLIX treatments spaced one month apart — and these photos, taken at her three-month follow-up, show visibly thicker, fuller hair.
As one of the first practices in the country to offer this FDA-approved laser treatment for hair loss, we’re now seeing real patient results.
