Mon May 6: Excellent Cherub Improv Workshop at The Hope Program BK. We created characters, played out workplace scenarios and spoke about ourselves with confidence. This was the group's first day of a 10 wk job readiness training program. Participant observations: You don't have to smile to be cool...some people who seemed very serious all day really opened up and had fun during improv games ** I learned to listen, be confident and be open to trying something new ** I learned that I can be a team player. The group decided to only call each other by their new "improv names" which included Melvin, Rasta, and Razzle Dazzle. Cherub Team Leader Evie Aronson 😇

5.2.19 Great Cherub Improv workshop with the kids at Noogieland at Gilda's Club NYC! In Park Bench game we had scenes with a strict Father who would not allow his daughter to have a milkshake, a waitress at McDonald's, and a ceremony for a fallen Super Hero that included Thor, Black Widow, his dog Grover and cat Sylvester! 😇👏👏👏🐕😇🦸‍♂️🍟❤🐈😇

Monday 4.22 Cherub Improv had an inspiring workshop today The HOPE Program Brooklyn. Team Leader Evie and Nancy M. worked with the class on listening, teamwork and self confidence through improvisation. Very creative and energetic group. Students said they learned motivation, how to think quickly, be brave and have fun. One student said he tends to isolate himself, but this workshop gave him a chance to interact with the group in a different way, to show other parts of his personality and be involved in a team-driven way. Congrats all! 😇😇

Sunday 4.14.19 Cherub Improv had a fun show at NYU Langone that included 4 questions of Passover and a Giraffe who just wanted to be a mascot for a minor league baseball team! Leader Michael Condon and Cherubs Bryan, Evie, Noah, Nancy, and Xavier. 😇😇😇😇😇😇

Mon. April 1st Cherub Improv had a fun workshop at Visions where we improvised some music with Cherubs Evie and Jeff C. Also nice crowd at Hope Lodge NYC with a scene of Excuses....when you can't find your camel, you have to get to work on a donkey provided by Alec Baldwin! With Cherubs Mike V, Shelly, Mike C, Evie and Xavier. Thank you Cherubs! 😇😇😇😇😇😇

Monday 3.18 : 2 great Cherub Improv workshops today. At The HOPE Program in Brooklyn, students imagined life in the future, the year 5000, everything is GOOGLE. Also talked about self confidence which was very good as the class was in their 10th week, preparing to graduate. With Cherubs Evie and Nancy M. 😇😇 then at Visions at Selis Manor Services for the Blind we had an interesting group game of ABC prov and talked about the day's GOOGLE doodle which honored Seiichi Miyake who created the tenji block to help the visually impaired. Thurs 3.14 🥧🥧🥧 Cherub Improv had a fun workshop with the kids at Noogieland - Gilda's Club NYC. They were great at creating characters, Freeze Dance, and their favorite game was Park Bench! Team Leader Evie Aronson w/Julia Butterfield.😇😇

Sunday Funday! Cherub Improv show at NYU Langone with Evie, Xavier, Paul, Anne, and Seann. The patients and their families enjoyed some laughs. We had scenes with a cop and robber flexing their muscles and a Dating Game including eligible singles of an EMU and old blue eyes.....Mr. Sinatra, plus scenes from The Godfather! Thanks Cherubs for volunteering! Afterwards had a great rehearsal working on ABC-prov skills! 😇😇😇😇😇

Before the ❄snow❄ started on Sunday 3/4, Cherub Improv had a fun workshop at Lott Residence. We talked about Cruise ships and what characters are found on the ship like a Chef, Captain etc. and then played a scene between the Purser and a Waitress who ended up being married by the Captain. Of course someone started singing the theme from 'The Love Boat' and everyone joined in. There was also a Mermaid 🧜‍♀️sighting off the starboard bow, and AquaMan also showed up 🧜‍♂️! Team Leader Evie with Mike C and Renee. 😇😇😇
