One of the most overlooked parts of client retention is the experience before the appointment even begins.
Something as simple as what you offer a client to drink can shape how relaxed they feel during their service.
Coffee might seem like a nice gesture, but it can actually make clients jittery, restless, or uncomfortable during treatments.
Instead, I like offering:
• water
• chamomile tea
• lavender tea
These instantly create a calming atmosphere.
And if you really want to elevate the experience, make the water feel a little spa-like. Add lemon or frozen fruit in an ice cube.
Clients notice the small details.
And those small details are often what make them come back again and again.
