A weekend filled with decorating eggs, Easter egg hunts, all 4 kids home, lots of , and a kid with a sprained ankle…lol. However, the reason is not lost…my family and I are forever grateful for HIS LOVE and HIS FORGIVENESS. I hope and pray for the and all over the world, in all the lands of all the people. Cheyenne Collazo 4/5/99-1/17/24. My almost twin. Our real life Pocahontas. Our beloved Nana. She left the world surrounded by her family with a room full of love. Thank you God for allowing my family to be together and witness a moment that was both heartbreaking yet filled with so much beauty. Cheyenne was a light in this world. Took care of everyone she cared about. We will make sure your memory lives on. We will make sure your boys know how amazing their mamma was, not just gorgeous in the outside….but the most beautiful soul on the inside. Rest in peace my baby girl. Until we meet again. 💔.

This semester was by far the most stressful semester to date in my FNP journey. It took me way out of my comfort zone in all aspects of my life. I let it stress me out to the point of injuring my neck and back (vieja status 👵🏽). But just a reminder y’all that you GOT THIS! After all that I finished my semester with a 94.8% in Lab and 91.31% lecture. Receiving a freaking 101 🤯 on my lab final! Mind you I thought I was going to barely pass if not going to fail because failing is anything below a B+. Thank you hubby for the calming talks and support 🤣. Lesson: stop over stressing Jes (and YOU out there)! As long as you are putting in your all you’re gonna be ok. 🙌🏽♥️ 2024 🙏🏽🙌🏽♥️ thank you GOD. Now to work on chapter 2 of thesis over winter break 🫠🫠🫠🫠🫠

In times of turmoil, and when there are so many innocent people dying everyday…in the many wars that are happening all over the world…I just want to take a moment to send all of humankind ALL OF MY LOVE and to apologize for how sh*tty humans have been behaving (especially lately).

Every year...the memory is just as clear...just as raw.

Below are some words I wrote down that was collected by someone that reached out to all the volunteers for publication. I left my house at around 6:30am 9/11. I returned home 9/12 in the late evening.

May 2001 I graduated college with my nursing degree....August I started my new job as an RN at . September 11....in the middle of a class on the 17th floor we heard a slew of sirens. Hospital was announced on lock down... We had NO IDEA what was happening. When we heard we looked out to the south facing windows to see the towers...the second plane hit. S**t was REAL! I stayed at NYU until I was released and then headed to Chelsea Piers to volunteer at the triage makeshift hospital that was set up. To date I have never been as scared. My heart broke each time I treated a cop or fire fighter...they just wanted to get oxygen and go back to get their "brothers". EVERY SINGLE ONE said the same thing. So I cleaned up their scrapes; gave them oxygen and cleared them to go ASAP so they can get back. That day I became a . In my soul I knew I couldn't be anywhere else. .

Hey friends! I need a preceptor for my Health Assessment class! Requirements are NP, MD, or DO and has had to have been at current practice for at least 2 years and educated in US. Also practicing in an outpatient setting, preferably family practice or adult care. No urgent cares or pre surgical care. I will need to start in October through December.
