Dr. King’s messages of love are radical— to this day his words still ring true when it comes to love, fear, and freedom.

Many find that non violence can be difficult in the face of fear; but as long as understanding, awareness, and clarity are present, we can practice creating the least amount of harm.

imagine if we all took a breath before moving into action. meditation is a tool that can help us all be more present with ourselves and each other.

if you haven’t don’t anything else for today, take a moment to breathe.

it is hard to choose love when fear is so loud.
imagine if we trusted the pace of love.
imagine if we trusted the practice of breathing before moving into action.
imagine how different life could be if we just slowed down.
my hope is that it’s not too late.
my hope is that we still choose connection + compassion in the face of fear.
my hope is that the heartbreaks that we experience and witness are not used to separate us more, but remind us that we need each other.
my hope is that we slow down and honor the pace of love.

the practice of yoga + meditation is an intentional way to be more mindful about the way you move and show up off the mat too. it’s not a waste of time, it actually saves a lot of time from the mistakes that happen when we are not present to our words, thoughts, and actions out in the world.
