The refuge of the spirit—where quiet stillness heals the heart’s sorrow and the mind regains clarity. By gently massaging this point for 2-3 minutes, you invite a sense of calm and tranquility to flow into your heart, easing away tension and bringing peace.

📍 Location:
On the palm of the hand, between the 2nd and 3rd metacarpal bones, closer to the 3rd bone. When you make a fist and curl your fingers, the point is located at the tip of your middle finger.

✅ Benefits of the “Laogong” Point:
😍Promote Sleep & Reduce Heart Heat
When excessive thinking and desires lead to an imbalance of heart heat, it can disturb the mind and cause insomnia. The Laogong point, associated with the fire element, helps clear heart heat and calm the spirit.

😍Calm the Mind & Relieve Fatigue
When facing stress or fatigue, using moxibustion on the Laogong point can stimulate circulation, alleviate fatigue, and help relax the body.

😍Relieve Cold in the Uterus & Ease Menstrual Pain
The Laogong point plays a crucial role in energy flow within the body. Regular moxibustion helps promote the rise of Yang energy, warming the body. For women, stimulating this point can warm the uterus, easing menstrual cramps and cold-related issues.

😍Promote Digestion & Relieve Constipation
Stimulating the Laogong point can help improve bowel movement, eliminate bad breath, mouth ulcers, and other heat-related issues. The effect is most noticeable in the morning when the large intestine channel is active.

Lower Cross Syndrome Tips 🤩👩‍🏫

✏️Strengthen Core Muscles
Focus on strengthening your abdominal muscles and glutes to improve stability and support your lower back.

✏️Stretch Tight Hip Flexors
Hip flexors, especially the iliopsoas, tend to tighten. Stretching them regularly can help alleviate discomfort.

✏️Improve Posture
Maintain a neutral spine position when sitting or standing. Avoid excessive arching of your lower back.

✏️Strengthen Glutes and Hamstrings
Perform exercises that activate your glutes and hamstrings, as they counteract the tight hip flexors.

✏️Stretch Lower Back and Hip Flexors
Gentle stretches for the lower back and hip flexors can help reduce muscle tension and improve mobility.

✏️Use Ergonomic Supports
Use chairs and cushions that support the natural curve of your spine, especially when sitting for long periods.

✏️Regular Movement
Avoid sitting for prolonged periods. Stand, stretch, and walk every 30–60 minutes to prevent muscle imbalances.

♥Electro-acupuncture ♥ is a specialized acupuncture therapy in which a mild electrical current is passed through cables attached to acupuncture needles. The device provides continuous, rhythmic stimulation to the needles, offering consistent support to muscles and fascia in the targeted area.

we typically use this treatment for musculoskeletal pain or at specific stages of IVF treatment.

Each patient is assessed individually during the initial acupuncture consultation to determine if this therapy is suitable for them. If you're interested in electro-acupuncture, scheduling an initial consultation is the perfect way to begin!
