A brief case study…

This client came to me after three recurrent miscarriages and one IVF cycle that did not result in a single embryo. She was so nervous to get pregnant again.

Here’s what she had been through:

December 2023 – Miscarriage at 8 weeks, followed by a severe UTI that landed her in the hospital, and then an ovarian cyst rupture.

Chemical pregnancy at 4½ weeks.

IUI pregnancy – Miscarried at 6½ weeks.

After her third miscarriage, her fertility doctor at Columbia University Fertility Center actually referred her to work with me before attempting IVF to improve her egg quality.

Three months into her 6 month program, she went for her first and only round of IVF (against my recommendation)…

Her body was not ready yet.

From three retrieved eggs… she ended up with zero embryos.

She then planned to do a few more rounds of IVF after the 6 month program was up. She truly believed IVF would be her only way to achieve pregnancy.

However… she had a big surprise because on her last month of my 6 month program, she got pregnant naturally!

We had to quickly adjust her protocol to pregnancy supportive nutrients… and guess what? She DID NOT MISCARRY!

This perfect baby was born this past January.

I do wonder if her doctor will continue referring patients to me because she never went back!

Stories like this are exactly why I keep doing what I do.

Questions no clinic ever asked me…

During all my fertility appointments, no one ever asked me about my digestion, the fact that I had rosacea, my cold hands, the fact that I didn’t sweat, why I was waking up at 3am, or my energy levels.

Turns out all of those things have a connection to fertility.
