The quiet practice of the warrior. 🥷🏼✨🐉
I once heard that you’re only as strong as your spine is flexible. And I could not agree more. Here’s some tips on how to cultivate a free and long spine:
✨Find a firm and “body-friendly” surface. Grab a couple of books 📚 for under your head.
✨Calmly lie down on your back, head slightly lifted by the books, knees bent.
✨Gently place your hands on your torso leaving the elbows on the floor.
✨Let the whole body settle into the support of the ground.
✨Don’t do anything extra or performative to your breath. Just leave it alone. The air will move into and out of your lungs 🫁 as it needs to.
✨Imagine that the head and the knees are both going away from the hips.
✨No need to stretch or “do” anything with your muscles. We’re practicing coming to quiet and moving our imagination. Just like warriors do!
✨Sense the 3D body resting and breathing in the 3D space.
After 10 min or so … calmly begin to get up.
