Students at - Every year, apart from the curated lineup of artists, we also invite students under respected gurus, to come and open the evenings for the festival…to encourage the young artists! This year, students from Odissi Dance Company performed on say2. ODC is a dance school based in New Jersey under the training of Dr. Aparupa Chatterjee. With students all over US including Texas and North Dakota, the school practices Odissi in the Kelucharan Mohaptra gharana. On Sept 21, 2025, Odissi Dance Company’s school students opened the festival with Chandana Charita-a piece evoking the spirit of Krishna in Vrindavan.
