Our practice partner, MLMIC Insurance Company, came to NYCDS to deliver an in-depth Risk Management course led by Dr. Frederick Wetzel, DDS. 📚

This 4-hour course, built around New York State laws, offered valuable legal and ethical insights for dentists, hygienists, and dental assistants looking to strength and protect their practice.

The FDA plans to remove fluoride supplements like tablets and drops used to prevent tooth decay in children. These supplements are important for kids in communities without fluoridated water or where other fluoride sources aren’t enough. The American Dental Association supports keeping these products available because they help protect at-risk children’s dental health.

You can help by submitting a comment before the deadline on Wednesday, July 16 at 11:59 p.m. ET. There’s also a public meeting on July 23 that you can join online or in person.
