Hands-on, insightful, and inspiring! Dr. Anne Koch brought her Intuitive Endodontics Workshop to NYCDS today, and attendees got to try both heat-treated and non-heat-treated nickel titanium rotary files while mastering a blend technique for endodontic success. Attendees also dove into straight-line access, ultrasonics, biogenetic tech, and more—thanks to Brasseler for sponsoring this course! 🦷✨

The New Dentist Committee hosted a decadent Artisanal Chocolate Tasting last night 🍫✨.

All of the attendees savored four exquisite flavors while a chocolate sommelier guided everyone through the aromas, textures, and rich history of chocolate and its fermentation process. It was a truly sweet success—and everyone left with a happy sweet tooth! 🦷

Two days, two amazing lectures! On September 11 and 12, Dr. Susan McMahon joined us at NYCDS 💙

Her first lecture, “The Next Dimension: Cosmetics, Digital Dentistry, CBCT, 3D Printers and More. How Dentists Thrive Today”, explored how dentists can overcome everyday challenges and elevate patient care with the right tools and communication.

The following day, she led “Veneer Planning and Preparation: Setting Up for Successful Cosmetic Enhancement Workshop”, giving attendees the chance to gain hands-on experience with veneer planning, prepping, materials, and placement.🦷

We can’t thank Dr. McMahon enough for sharing her expertise and making these sessions such a success.

We kicked off our September General Membership Meeting last night, and it was wonderful to see NYCDS members reconnect and catch up after the summer! The energy in the room was incredible. 💙

A special thank you to Dr. Pierre Wohlgemuth for his engaging lecture, “Cracking the Code of Cemental Tear: When and How to Treat”, where he shared insights on etiology, diagnosis, classification, treatment, and prognosis from an endodontic perspective. 🦷🪥
