Let’s talk about runners’ nutrition during the NYC marathon:

* Important Note: “The runner” (5’11”, 155lbs / ~70.3 kg) doing a 6:00 min/mile pace is a very high-intensity effort, likely well above Zone 3+ It will last about 55+ minutes. High-intensity running makes gastric emptying much harder, so fueling is primarily about what you ate before the run.
* During-Run Intake: 30-60g carbs per hr.
* Rationale: For a high-intensity marathon, the primary goal is to top off “glycogen stores” and maintain blood glucose. Intake is lower than cycling due to the high impact and greater likelihood of stomach sloshing.

Fueling every 60-Minute Run Plan:
* Pre-Run: A substantial meal 12 hours prior.
* During: A 30g carbs G5 gels at the beginning may be beneficial. Then 30-60g carbs per hr. Hit the SuperCaff 188mg caff/188mg pink salt gel to boost the last sector towards the finishing line

Canel’s has done it again Vuelta Ciclstica Internacional a Guatemala with Mcgeough scored and secured the green jersey. And other teammates trying to podium the stages

Here is an example of their fueling strategy: Rider (6’3”, 160 lbs / ~72.6 kg)
* Recommended Intake: 60-120g per hour.
* Rationale: This is a well-trained athlete with a lean build. They have a high metabolic demand, good GI system and can likely utilize the upper end of the range.

* 5-Hr racing (Aiming for 90g/hr avg):
* G5 energy gel 30g carbs

“Coincidence”(n)-when things line up so perfectly, you almost don’t believe it’s real. Our 1st winning streak(23 podiums) might’ve been a coincidence. We used that synchronicity to propel G5pf’s recognition and market share🛩️⛽️

After all our athletes/teams recharged, in just 3.5 weeks, they have compounded 10 podium at some of the toughest pro cycling races in America.
