Last week, Dr. Mohajery, Dr. Sadiq, and Clinical Research Assistant Shannon Brewi attended the American Academy of Neurology Annual Meeting to share research from the Tisch MSRCNY lab and learn from fellow neurology professionals. 👏

"As a student currently applying to medical school, it was exhilarating to attend the AAN Annual Meeting alongside current medical students, residents, and neurology attendings. It like taking a glimpse into my future! I was nervous to present my poster in front of so many accomplished people, but the community there was incredibly motivating" says Shannon.

Let us know if you want to learn more about the research our team presented!

“I had an incredible experience at ACTRIMS Forum 2025… There’s a lot of exciting progress in the field—from trying to discover the root causes of MS to advancing imaging techniques, improving relapse prevention, and exploring myelin repair treatments. Many of these studies are still ongoing and need further investigation, but the energy and hope for the future of MS care were undeniable.”

– Dr. Mohajery, on the Americas Committee for Treatment and Research in Multiple Sclerosis conference our team attended this month

We're excited to share that Dr. Jamie Wong's research was presented at last week, and featured in ALS News Today this morning!

Check it out: https://lnkd.in/eQm-dA7g

Dr. Wong and her team have been using Tisch MSRCNY's proprietary mouse model to study ApoB and neurotoxicity, which recent research suggests is mediated through the LDL receptor. We look forward to continuing this work!
