tional interventionist. Leaving her native Sweden for New York early on in her upbringing, Janique encountered an opportunity of a lifetime. She joined the legendary band Kid Creole and the Coconuts, performing domestically and internationally throughout the 80s. After 10 years of touring and recording, living life at an accelerated pace came to a grinding halt and the flipside of all the recognition and fortune had Janique struggling with a major addiction. In her personal quest to find recovery from her addiction, Janique also found her herself drawn to working in the therapeutic community.
Janique's own personal experience motivated her to study addiction and mental health and dedicated her life to educating and helping others. She has created a Transitional Care Program for Rehabs in the USA as well as created motivational lectures and workshops such as "How to get out of a Destructive Behavior", "Family, Relationship and Intimacy Issues", "The Red Thread through S*x Addiction and Self-Harm"

She earned a master coach in NLP life coaching and become a certified instructor at Prevention Research Institute in Drugs and Alcohol for Adolescence and Adults with co-occurring symptoms. She recently became a Certified Anatomy of Arousal S*x Addiction Specialist Candidate at the International Institute for Trauma and Addiction Professionals. Janique is specialized as an international interventionist, a recovery coach and case management working closely with Physicians, Psychiatrists, Rehabs and assisting clients to break free from their own destructive behavior.
Janique has a private practice for individuals, groups and families in New York City, Upper West Side and Sweden, Stockholm, where she sees clients on a daily basis in her office as well as Skype.
