We have some important updates
Dear Channel Qi Acupuncture community,
Included here is our Sick Policy and COVID:
• While the Covid virus, the new Variant, the Flu, RSV, and many other strong pathogens out there we still need to protect ourselves. These pathogens can be extremely damaging to the body both with or without the vaccination for Covid or the Flu.
• Please be aware; even if you have a strong immune system and are not worried about being sick, you can be a carrier of these viruses which can then be passed through healthy individuals who can then spread it to some of my elderly patients or their loved ones, parents, grandparents, etc. We also have a fair amount of people who have compromised immune systems to consider as well. This is basic science to try to prevent the spread of these viruses.
Please continue to wear your masks when coming into the office for your appointments.
• VERY IMPORTANT: If you are sick; colds, fever, sinus infections, sore throat, bronchitis please do not come in for your appointment. We don’t want to get everyone who comes in the office sick also. Text Joe at 917-803-5136 or Shelly 516-749-4170 to reschedule or use the link to reschedule please.
• If someone in your household is sick with the Covid Virus especially, Please don’t come in because you could be a carrier. Even if you’re not sick.
• We also offer Herbal Telemedicine for some conditions; i.e., colds, flus, bronchitis, sore throat, long-haulers syndrome. Call or have someone call to explain the symptoms and if we have the formula in stock we would run it down to your car. You would Venmo or Zelle the money for the herbs and a nominal fee for the consult.
• We are doing everything in our power to clean and disinfect between each patient to ensure we and others don’t spread these illnesses. It is impossible to completely control it though. So please be mindful about whether you are sick or not when coming into the office.
