This New Moon in Capricorn isn’t sexy. It’s structural. It’s the moment where the vision stops living in your head… and starts asking for a container that can actually hold it.

Capricorn rules leadership, visibility, and the 10th house themes of reputation, responsibility, and what gets mirrored back through your work.

Translation: this is a moon for anyone building something real… who’s tired of carrying it the old way.

If the system has been feeling heavy, it might not be a motivation problem.
It might be an architecture problem.

Perfection often creates unrealistic expectations that lead to self-criticism and burnout. Progress, on the other hand, recognizes effort, learning, and consistency as meaningful achievements. Growth doesn’t happen in one big moment, it happens through small, intentional steps taken over time.

By celebrating progress, you strengthen confidence, build resilience, and develop a healthier relationship with yourself. Each step forward matters, even when the journey isn’t flawless.

Take a moment today to acknowledge your growth and give yourself credit for how far you’ve come.

Shame and regret may feel similar, but they lead to very different outcomes. Shame attacks your sense of self, creating the belief that you are flawed or unworthy. It tends to drain energy, lower confidence, and keep you stuck in self-judgment.

Regret, on the other hand, focuses on actions rather than identity. It offers awareness without self-condemnation and creates space for learning, accountability, and change. When approached with compassion, regret becomes a guide for growth instead of a source of punishment.

Practice noticing the difference and choose self-reflection over self-judgment as you move forward.

Leadership isn’t just about strategy or skill, it’s about presence. When energy is drained by self-doubt, emotional weight, or constant overextension, even the most capable leaders can feel stuck or disconnected. Reclaiming your energy allows you to lead with focus, intention, and trust in your decisions.

When your energy is aligned, communication becomes clearer, confidence feels natural, and leadership flows from purpose rather than pressure.

Start leading from a place of balance and self-trust. Reflect on where your energy is going and choose what truly supports your growth.

About 40% of daily behavior happens on autopilot, not through conscious decision-making. This isn’t laziness—the brain is designed to conserve energy through habits.

Research consistently shows that small, incremental changes outperform dramatic overhauls, especially when new behaviors are attached to routines that already exist. Sustainable change isn’t driven by motivation alone—it’s built through systems.

Most people start a new year by asking, What should I accomplish?

But there’s a more powerful question underneath it:
Who am I becoming—and what habits would support that consistently?

When change begins at the level of identity and intention, follow-through stops feeling like force and starts feeling natural.

This single shift changes everything downstream—how goals are set, how habits are built, and how sustainable the year actually becomes.

Early Enrollment Window (through January 5)
👉ICF-Approved 35 CCE Program. A 10-week group experience for coaches and professionals focused on presence, intuition, and sustainable performance. Starts January 29th.
👉Peak Performance Coaching Program. A 12-week group journey designed to support clarity, habit design, and aligned momentum. Starts January 29th.

For a limited time, registration is available at half of the standard investment and includes a bonus:
Easy Business Energetics for Peak Performance & Intuitive Flow. A foundational mini-course to support nervous system regulation, habit creation, and intuitive focus
These programs are designed to support follow-through that lasts—so your intentions don’t just sound inspiring on January 1, but become livable by April and embodied as the year unfolds.

Full Moon in Cancer: The Courage to Feel at Home Within Yourself

Goes exact Saturday, Jan 03, 2026 5:02 AM ET

The Full Moon in Cancer arrives as an emotional reckoning and a homecoming. It illuminates the subtle, often unseen layers of how we relate to safety, belonging, nourishment, and self-trust—both within our bodies and within the lives we are actively creating.

After months of intention-setting, momentum, and forward movement, this lunation invites a different kind of mastery: integration. Cancer asks us not what we are building, but how it feels to live inside what we are creating. It reminds us that manifestation does not complete itself through effort alone, but through emotional digestion, nervous system regulation, and a deep sense of inner permission to receive.

If you’d like to read the full Moon Session article exploring emotional coherence, conscious leadership, and sustainable growth, comment “moon” and I’ll share the link.

Each year, millions set New Year’s resolutions. In the U.S., roughly 3 in 10 adults make at least one resolution, and about 80% feel confident they’ll stick to it at the start of the year (Drive Research). Yet follow-through tells a different story.

Research summarized by the Fisher College of Business at The Ohio State University shows that only about 9% of people actually achieve their resolutions, with 23% quitting within the first week and most abandoning goals by mid-February. Forbes has echoed this pattern repeatedly.

This isn’t a motivation problem.
It’s a strategy problem.

Here’s the distinction most New Year conversations miss:
Resolutions are often all-or-nothing resolves. They can create pressure, perfectionism, and a rebound effect when the nervous system pushes back.

Goals are useful—but limited. Without connection to values, beliefs, or the felt outcome you want from completing them, goals can become empty checkboxes.
Intentions work at a deeper level.

An intention isn’t what you want to accomplish.
It’s how you want to live while accomplishing it.

Intentions connect goals to values and identity. They organize the nervous system. They give habits meaning. And they’re what make follow-through sustainable instead of exhausting.

Behavioral research supports this. Studies referenced by James Clear, drawing on Duke University research, suggest that around 40% of daily behavior is habit-driven, not conscious decision-making.

If you’re ready to approach the year differently, comment “intention” or message me for more info.
