Many of our patients come to us unaware that their tongue may be playing a major role in their airway issues. When the jaw is underdeveloped or the mouth too small, the tongue often has nowhere to go but backward—blocking airflow and impacting sleep and even heart rhythm.
Through proper jaw positioning and appliance therapy, we help reposition the tongue and restore airway space. In some cases, this can uncover underlying conditions like atrial fibrillation, which may have gone undetected.
Airway health is whole-body health. At The Gelb Center, we’re here to help you breathe, sleep, and function better—one personalized step at a time.
