Vit A supplements CANNOT PREVENT measles.
Vit A DEFICIENCY increases the risk of severe measles BUT US children are UNLIKELY to be Vit A deficient. The only way to prevent measles is by vaccinating the whole community. There is no direct treatment for measles infection, we can only offer supportive care if caught.

CDC officials are investigating a multistate outbreak of Salmonella infections linked to cucumbers. As of Nov. 29, 68 people have been infected across 19 states. 18 of those people have been hospitalized and no deaths have been reported. CDC officials are investigating a multistate outbreak of E. coli infections linked to multiple brands of recalled organic carrots sold by Grimmway Farms. As of November 17th, 39 people have been infected across 18 states. 15 of those people were hospitalized and one person has died.
