A new eye implant, available at , reduces the number of yearly eye injections for patients with wet age-related macular degeneration (wet AMD) and diabetic macular edema ( ). The FDA-approved implant, is a refillable device that continuously delivers medication over 6-months. NYEE is the first center to offer this treatment in New York City. Gennady Landa, MD and his team performed their first case on May 7, 2025.
