Skincare recommendations for the neck! When it comes to the neck it’s all about prevention so try this routine. ✅ SPF - use sunscreen w/ SPF30 or higher to protect your skin from UV rays. Extend it down to the chest! ✅ Retinol - use a gentle retinol 2-3x per week to boost collagen production and firm your skin. Love this one from ✅ Peptide + PDRN- use a hydrating peptide serum w Matrixyl3000 + PDRN to further boost collagen production and rejuvenate the skin Skincare is all about consistency so stick to the routine! 😉 VC: passdownlove (TikTok) thank you for sharing the video

Repost because IG took down the audio! Lots of good info here!😎 Skincare recommendations for hyperpigmentation!✨ Niacinamide is a great ingredient but usually it’s not enough to clear the stubborn hyperpigmented patches alone. You need to combine it w/ other ingredients to reduce melanin production, protect your skin from UV rays, and increase cellular turnover. Here are my recommendations!👨🏻‍⚕️ ✅ Niacinamide. Niacinamide works by blocking the melanin (melanosome) from being transferred cell to cell. Use this daily in the morning. ✅ Tranexamic acid. TXA is one of the most underrated skincare ingredients and works by decreasing the level of plasmin, which ultimately results in decreased melanin production. Use this daily in the morning. ✅ Kojic acid + Arbutin. These ingredients decrease melanin production by blocking the enzyme Tyrosinase which is an essential enzyme for melanin production. Use these nightly! ✅ Tinted SPF. When treating hyperpigmentation sunscreen is an absolute essential. Use tinted mineral sunscreen because it protects your skin from both UV rays and visible light. ✅ Retinol/ Tretinoin. These help soften hyperpigmentation by increasing cellular turnover so you can have healthy new skin cells regularly. Use this 2-3x per week so you get the benefits without irritating the skin. Skincare is all about consistency so find your favorite products and stick to the routine, and watch your skin glow from the inside out! 😉 Thank you for sharing the video . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
