TASC AmeriCorps

TASC AmeriCorps Community Works and Everyday Explorers AmeriCorps members serving in after-school programs throughout New York State.

AmeriCorps is a federally funded volunteer program that gives people a chance to serve their communities while earning money for college tuition or to repay student loans. TASC trains and supports AmeriCorps members to work in New York City after-school programs, and to help kids plan and execute community projects. Community service is a vital component of a comprehensive after-school program. More than 2,400 TASC AmeriCorps members have worked in after-school programs since 2000.
