Dr. Melissa D. Grady, Ordinary Professor from NCSSS presented at the joint conference of the Massachusetts Society for a World Free of Sexual Harm by Youth and the Massachusetts Chapter of the Association for the Prevention and Treatment of Sexual Abuse on Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Adolescents with Problematic Sexual Behavior on April 10th.

Rates of sexual violence among youth who have experienced trauma remain high and more research is needed to develop trauma-informed approaches that address this widespread issue. The Catholic University of America is pleased to have the opportunity to advance efforts to reduce the incidence of youth sexual violence through interventions for adolescents with trauma histories who have caused harm. Dr. Jamie Yoder of Colorado State University and I look forward to this research shedding light on the root causes of sexual violence among youth and helping make our communities safer.”
