One Truth, Many Applications. ✨

Good Morning. 🌸

“The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.”
~ Proverbs 4:18

Welcome to May… the season of blooming.

As a massage therapist I see the body’s resilience every day. Our cells are constantly renewing, as a cancer survivor I’ll admit that process feels a little slower for me 🤷🏽‍♀️… but it never stops. Your body is always working toward its next version of brighter.

Treat your body like the masterpiece it’s becoming. Not the one you think you’re leaving behind.

Consistency is what keeps that light shining, and yes, that’s my own personal challenge too🙏🏾 Whether it’s a 5-minute stretch or a full workout you are stoking the fire for a brighter tomorrow.

This Monday morning… one simple question:

What is shining brighter in you this season? Name it. Claim it. Let it shine.

If you’re ready to take your first intentional step the Still Rising 5-Day Guide & Journal Bundle was created for this moment. Just $12.99. Link in bio or visit https://stan.store/FiftyFabulousandFit

Share it below, your light might be exactly what someone else (I) needs today. 😘

The habits my 27-year-old client Jessica is building RIGHT NOW writing her story at 57.

The secret to longevity isn’t a pill, a potion, or a program. It’s the daily choices you make when nobody’s watching. Movement. Mindset. Consistency.

Wellness isn’t a switch you flip at 50, it’s the foundation you build every single day.

You already know this. The question is… are you doing it? I’ve started back. 💪

Drop a 👍 if you’ve started!

Have you ever heard the term “glimmer”? ✨

It’s the opposite of a trigger. Where a trigger pulls you toward stress or pain, a glimmer pulls you toward joy. Peace. Gratitude. Those tiny moments that make you pause and think… yes. This.

A beautiful sunset. Your favorite song coming on. The feeling after a good walk. The smell of your morning coffee. These are glimmers, and here’s the science behind why they matter so much for women over 50:

💡 Coach Nia’s FFF Tip: When you intentionally look for glimmers, you’re actually rewiring your brain. You’re training your nervous system to default toward calm and joy instead of stress and anxiety. That’s not just feel-good talk, that’s neuroscience.😉

And the beautiful thing? The more you look for glimmers, the more your brain finds them.

So tonight, as you watch that sky… let it be your glimmer. You deserve every bit of it.

Who says aging has to be boring? 👀 Not these two… and not YOU either! 💃🕺

Watch them go! Out on that field, moving with pure joy and absolutely zero apologies. THIS is what we celebrate at Fifty Fabulous and Fit.

But here’s what I really want you to see beyond the smiles…

💡 Coach Nia’s FFF Tip: Dancing isn’t just fun, it’s FUNCTIONAL.
When you dance, your body and brain are working together in ways that literally protect your future self:

🧠 Stay Sharp ~ Dancing challenges your brain to learn new patterns and sequences, which improves memory and cognitive function. It’s one of the best-kept secrets for brain health after 50.

⚖️ Stay Steady ~ Every step, turn, and groove builds the balance and coordination you need to move confidently and prevent falls. Movement truly IS medicine.

🤝 Stay Connected ~ Whether you’re dancing with a partner, a friend, or just your living room mirror, the joy of movement lowers stress hormones and lifts your mood. Community and connection are healing.

So the next time someone offers you a dance… say YES.

You don’t need a baseball field. You just need a willing spirit and a good song.

Drop a 💃 below if you’re stay in and dancing!

Throwback to my 81-year-old client, Molly, getting her inchworm on, strong, steady, and showing what’s possible at any age.

The inchworm is a powerful full-body warm-up:
💪🏾 Improves balance and stability
💪🏾 Strengthens core, arms, chest, and back

How to do it:
• Stand tall, feet shoulder-width apart
• Bend knees slightly and hinge forward
• Place hands on the floor
• Walk hands out into a plank
• Walk feet back toward hands
• Roll up to standing and reach overhead… that’s one

Stay engaged, keep your core tight, and breathe.
Four more to go… yes, I’m watching 😏

Let’s move — chop 👏🏾 chop 👏🏾

Some mornings, possibility wakes you up before your alarm does. ☕🌸

I know you’ve had those moments, when something stirs in you at an hour that makes no sense. When your spirit is wide awake even if the rest of you isn’t ready. That’s not insomnia. That’s expectation.
This morning’s truth found me at 4AM. And I want you to have it too.

“For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.”
~ Proverbs 23:18 KJV

You don’t have to have it all figured out by morning. You don’t have to have a perfect plan, a perfect schedule, or a perfect moment. What you need is the quiet knowing that what God placed in you, that hope, that dream, that next step… has not been cancelled.

Your expectation shall not be cut off.

So if today feels late, or behind, or not what you planned… take your sip. Breathe in the morning. And remember: Still Rising isn’t just a phrase. It’s a promise. 🌿

What’s one thing you’re still believing for this season? Tell Me below. 😉

Happy Earth Day! 🌎

Today the world celebrates the ground beneath your feet. But what about the earth you actually live in…your body?

Proverbs 22:6 teaches you that the paths you choose now stay with you. Every intentional movement is a seed planted. When you train your body in gentle strength and consistency today, you are protecting your vitality for the decades ahead.

Think of it as your Triple Threat for Earth Day:

🌿 Your Spirit ~ training your mind and heart to stay centered.

🌿 Your Body ~ gentle Tai Chi movements to lubricate the joints and calm the fascia.

🌿 Your Earth ~ connecting your rhythm to the natural flow of life.

Your body is your most precious piece of real estate. Tend it. Root it. Watch it rise. 🌿💎

Will you be tending to your “earth” today? Let us know in the comments 😘

One Truth, Many Applications. ✨

Good Morning.

“Whoever pursues righteousness and love finds life, prosperity and honour.”
~ Proverbs 21:21

Can I ask you something this Tuesday morning?

What are you actively pursuing right now?

Not what you’re waiting for. Not what you hope will happen. What are you deliberately, intentionally, diligently going after?

Because Proverbs 21:21 makes a stunning promise… pursue righteousness and love and you will find life, prosperity and honour. Not maybe. Not sometimes. You will FIND it.

You’re probably thinking prosperity means financial abundance. However, as a wellness coach and massage therapist I’ve seen a different kind of prosperity up close… the woman who moves her body consistently and finds energy she forgot she had. The woman who feeds her mind with wisdom (proverbs) every morning and finds clarity she didn’t know was possible. The woman who nurtures her soul with stillness and finds peace that genuinely passes understanding. Can I meet her 💭

That is the pursuit of prosperity. 💎

Today pursue something that nourishes you:

🌿 Your body ~ move it. Even 10 minutes counts.

🌿 Your mind ~ feed it. One verse. One page. One podcast.

🌿 Your soul ~ still it. Five minutes of quiet before the day begins.

All three deserve your pursuit today. 💛

What will you pursue this Tuesday? Share below, inquiring minds (moi) want to know… 😉

One Truth, Many Applications. ✨

“The glory of young men is their strength, but the splendor of old men is their gray hair.”
~ Proverbs 20:29

Monday morning is a revolving door. We aren’t just starting another week, we are stepping into an evolved version of our strength. 👑💪🏽

Our bodies carry the years. Some call it wear and tear. I call it resilience.

Strengthening your biceps today is about more than just muscle. It’s about maintaining the frame that carries your wisdom.

Coach Nia’s Monday Focus:

💪🏽 Functional Flow ~ controlled curls protect the elbow joints and improve posture

💪🏽 Mindset Shift ~ your strength isn’t declining, it’s maturing

💪🏽 Spirit ~ honor the temple that has carried you this far

Pick up those weights. Water bottles count too! 😄

Wear your splendor. 💎

Are you picking up your weights today? Drop a 💪🏽 and let’s evolve together! 👇🏽

One Truth, Many Applications. ✨

“Then one rests content, untouched by trouble.”
~ Proverbs 19:23

Sunday afternoon is for more than just a nap. It’s about a deep cellular rest that the world can’t touch. 🌿

Our bodies keep score of the week’s stress. But when we choose contentment we give our hearts and minds the green light to heal.

Rest is not laziness. It is the reward of a life well lived. My teenage nephew would love to hear that… shh, let’s not tell him! 😉

🌿 Sunday Wellness Check:

🌿 Lower your heart rate with intentional stillness

🌿 Reset your mind by dwelling on His promises

🌿 Claim the peace you’ve earned this week

You are Fabulous. You are Fit. And today, you are Rested. 💎

Drop a 😌 if you’re reclaiming your peace this afternoon! 👇🏽

One Truth, Many Applications. ✨

“A cheerful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones.”
~ Proverbs 17:22

Did you know your mood is actually part of your medical history?

As a breast cancer survivor, triple negative… I’ve seen AND experienced how a crushed spirit manifests as stiff joints, chronic pain, and a body that struggles to heal. But joy? Joy is a healer too. It’s the secret ingredient in your wellness routine that no supplement can replace. 🌿

Reading my daily Proverbs has been part of my healing. This verse is personal.

Why joy is good medicine:

🌿 Stress Reduction ~ cheerful hearts produce less cortisol, reducing systemic inflammation

🌿 Immune Boost ~ positive emotions are linked to stronger immune responses

🌿 Pain Management ~ laughter and joy release endorphins, your body’s natural painkillers

What one thing brings a smile to your face today? Share your joy in the comments, because honestly, I need some tips too! 👇🏽😄
