CO2 laser is often the final step that elevates surgical results from excellent to exceptional. By tightening fine lines, smoothing wrinkles, and improving pigmentation, it refines the skin itself not just the structure beneath it. When thoughtfully added to procedures like blepharoplasty or facial rejuvenation, CO2 laser helps the skin better match the precision of the surgery. It’s not about doing more it’s about finishing well.

Upper and lower blepharoplasty with CO2 laser can completely refresh the eye area — without changing your face.

In this before and after, we addressed excess upper eyelid skin and lower eyelid fullness to create a smoother, more awake appearance. A CO2 laser treatment was performed as a finishing touch to improve skin texture and tighten the delicate under-eye area.

While Dr. Schwarcz often incorporates fat transfer to restore lost volume, it wasn’t necessary here. This patient already had beautiful natural volume under the eyes — so the approach focused on refinement rather than addition. The result is brighter, smoother, and still completely natural.

Every surgical plan is individualized. Sometimes it’s about lifting. Sometimes it’s about restoring. And sometimes it’s simply about reshaping what’s already there.

If your eyes are making you look tired, schedule a consultation and let’s talk about what makes sense for you.

Some patients benefit most from blepharoplasty. Others see excellent results with non-surgical eye treatments. And in many cases, the best plan is a thoughtful combination of both.

Excess skin and structural changes require a different approach than fine lines, hollowing, or pigmentation. Understanding what’s actually causing a tired appearance is what determines whether surgery, non-surgical treatment, or a staged plan makes the most sense. The goal isn’t to push one path over another. It’s to match the treatment to the anatomy, lifestyle, and personal comfort level of each patient.

If you’re unsure which eye rejuvenation option is right for you, we break down the differences and how to choose in our latest blog.

Facelift timing isn’t about secrecy it’s about planning.
Weddings. Milestone birthdays. Being on camera. Big moments have a way of making people think more seriously about facial rejuvenation and timing matters more than most realize.
A facelift isn’t something to schedule weeks before an important event. Healing takes time, and the best results come from planning ahead so your face has time to settle, rest, and look balanced — without feeling rushed or self-conscious. Modern facelift conversations focus less on age and more on facial changes, lifestyle, and realistic recovery timelines. When non-surgical treatments stop restoring structure, timing becomes a question of effectiveness not urgency.
If you’re wondering how to plan a facelift around what’s coming up in your life, we break it all down in our latest blog. Read the full post to learn how facelift timing really works. Click the link in bio to get started.

A better facelift isn’t about pulling skin tighter. Facial aging happens in the deeper structural layers that support the face, and if those aren’t addressed, results won’t look natural or last. Precision in restoring structural support allows the face to move, settle, and age more naturally over time. That’s why long-term outcomes matter more than how tight the skin looks early on.

In “Eye Opening Details…About a Common Surgery,” Dr. Robert Schwarcz was quoted in How Not To F*ck Up Your Face, a Substack by Valerie Monroe, breaking down what patients actually need to know about blepharoplasty.

Not every eye needs surgery. Not every trend deserves a follow-through. And precision always matters more than pressure.

Dr. Schwarcz’s approach has always been rooted in anatomy, restraint, and timing because the goal isn’t to look “done,” it’s to look like yourself on a really good day. If you’re considering eyelid surgery, the right questions (and the right surgeon) matter more than ever. Education first. Decisions second. Results that age well.

Recovery timelines are guidelines — not rules.
Healing after facial surgery isn’t linear. Even with the same procedure, recovery can look different from person to person. Swelling, bruising, and timing all vary, and early healing never tells the full story.
Patience is part of the process. Learn more at the link in bio.

There’s no “perfect age” for eyelid surgery. There is a right moment. Blepharoplasty isn’t about preventing aging or chasing trends it’s about anatomy, function, and timing. Done too early, it can create imbalance. Done thoughtfully, it restores clarity and ease without looking obvious.

In our latest blog, Dr. Schwarcz explains:
• Why age matters less than anatomy
• When eyelid surgery actually makes sense
• How to know when waiting is the smarter choice

Trends come and go, but your face doesn’t. In facial plastic surgery, following what’s popular can lead to overcorrection, imbalance, and results that don’t age well. Precision, anatomy, and long-term thinking matter far more than what’s trending online.

The goal isn’t to chase a look — it’s to respect facial structure, preserve identity, and create results that feel natural at every stage of aging. When surgery is done thoughtfully, it shouldn’t announce itself. It should simply look right.

This philosophy guides every surgical decision I make, from eyelid surgery to facelifts and facial rejuvenation. Learn more about a precision-based approach to facial surgery at the link in bio.

The most successful eyelid surgery doesn’t announce itself. It doesn’t look tight, hollow, or obvious. It looks rested. Modern blepharoplasty is no longer about removing as much skin or fat as possible it’s about understanding balance, anatomy, and when to stop. The difference between an overdone result and a natural one often comes down to restraint. In our latest blog, Dr. Schwarcz breaks down how eyelid surgery has evolved and why precision matters more than trends.
