🚨 Europe just banned TPO, a chemical found in some gel nail polishes, starting earlier this month.

This does not mean all gels are banned — only those with TPO. But as a board certified dermatologist, I already advise against gel manicures.

The removal process can damage the nail bed, leading to lifting of the nail plate (onycholysis) and brittle nails (onychochezia).

With TPO now classified in Europe as a reproductive toxin, there is even more reason to be cautious.

✨ My recommendation: switch to cleaner polish systems like Dazzle Dry — no UV lamps, healthier ingredients, and less damage to your nails.
