Those with poor social ties were 2–3x more likely to die earlier, and prolonged social isolation increased the risk of heart disease, stroke, and premature death by up to 26%. Longevity isn’t just about habits—it’s about who you do life with. That’s why I am so grateful for the people I get to call my friends, especially this time of year. Happy New Year!
