Find Your Practice at Sivananda Yoga Center NYC
Whether you're a beginner, a returning student, or looking for a gentle and adaptive class, we offer a range of in-person sessions to support your journey.

Open Classes (All levels welcome)
• Tues & Thurs – 7:00–8:15 AM
• Mon–Sat – 10:30 AM–12:00 PM
• Mon–Fri – 6:00–7:30 PM
• Sun – 4:30 PM
These classes follow the classical Sivananda sequence: breathing exercises (pranayama), sun salutation, 12 basic postures, and deep relaxation. Perfect for building strength, flexibility, and inner calm.
🧘 Beginner Class
• Sun – 4:30 PM
New to yoga? Our Sunday beginner class is a great introduction to the foundations of Hatha Yoga. Learn postures at a gentle pace with personal attention and guidance.
🪷 Adaptive Yoga
• Sat – 10:45 AM
Designed for individuals working with physical limitations, injuries, or reduced mobility. These sessions modify traditional yoga to meet your needs safely and comfortably.
🔥 Advanced Class
• Sat – 9:30–11:30 AM
A deeper exploration of the classical Sivananda sequence for experienced practitioners. Expand your practice with longer holds, advanced variations, and refined techniques.
