Today if you could do a live about dry January would be great. I’ll add a poll- who’s doing dry January. I forwarded you a post by Hyman to look at before you do your life. Use some of it. Don’t be super harsh anti drinking. Think of a hook that’s different than what everyone is repeating.

Reset your baseline
Taking a month off of alcohol helps you notice how alcohol actually affects your sleep, mood, workouts, and focus — so IF and when you drink again, it’s more intentional. Taking breaks also makes moderation easier the rest of the year.

I became a doctor to help people.
But when I realized the system was part of what was hurting them, I had a choice—stay silent or speak up.

I wrote Don’t Let Your Doctor Kill You because staying quiet felt like betrayal.

If you want the truth and the tools to protect yourself, start here.
The link is in my bio. It’s the book I wish I could hand to every human being.

“You can’t take hormones.”
That’s what women with a history of blood clots, breast cancer, or heart issues are still being told — even when the science says otherwise.

I’ve been working with hormones since 1996. The data has always supported their safety when used correctly. But fear sticks. And women are left to suffer because of outdated advice and medical bias.

I’m not here to convince anyone. I’m here to tell the truth.
You deserve the full picture, not fear-based medicine.

That’s why I wrote Don’t Let Your Doctor Kill You.
The link is in my bio. Read it. Share it. Use it.

The Future of Medicine

AI won’t replace good doctors.
It’ll replace the ones who stop thinking.

Let tech handle the data. Let real doctors do what machines can’t—listen, care, connect.

This is our chance to rebuild medicine the right way.

Read more in Don’t Let Your Doctor Kill You. Link’s in my bio.

How do you protect yourself from bad doctors?
Start by knowing yourself.

You live in your body not them.
A good doctor listens, respects you, and pays attention.
If they don’t, they’re not going to help you.

You have to trust that you know when something feels off.
And you have to be willing to walk away when you're not being heard.

Finding a good doctor is like any relationship.
Don’t settle. Keep moving until you find someone who truly shows up for you.

The Healthcare System Lie

The system doesn’t profit when you’re healthy.
Prevention isn’t rewarded—prescriptions are.

I left that model because treating disease without asking why is pointless.
Real wellness happens outside the system.

You have more control than you think.

The testing trap
She had 47 normal tests—and still felt awful.
No one asked about her life.
Stress, no sleep, bad food.
Her body was screaming, but doctors only looked at labs.
The answer isn’t always in the blood.
It’s in the story.

Medical school brainwashing
I didn’t see it right away.
Ten years into practice, I realized I wasn’t helping people stay well.
I was just waiting for them to get sick.
Medicine should be about prevention.
But we’re not trained for that.
And that’s the real problem.

Diets don't work, because they're not supposed to.

Real health isn't about restriction. It's about nourishing your body with foods that make you feel amazing.

Too many women leave the doctor’s office with an antidepressant—and no questions asked about hormones, sleep, or stress.

The system isn’t built to listen. Most doctors aren’t trained to connect the dots.

If you’re not being heard, walk out.

That’s what I shared on Health Coach Talk with Dr. Sandra Scheinbaum.
Your care starts with asking better questions.
