Retinol vs retinal vs tretinoin - what’s the difference?🤔

They’re all vitamin A derivatives. They all help with acne, fine lines, uneven texture, and collagen stimulation. 
But they’re not interchangeable.

Retinol converts slowly and is generally better tolerated. Retinal works faster and can deliver stronger results with moderate irritation. Tretinoin is already active - which means it works powerfully, but can also cause peeling, redness, and barrier disruption if not introduced properly.
