DO YOU HAVE OBSESSIVE-COMPULSIVE DISORDER?

The Psychiatric NeuroCognition lab studies brain functioning in people with Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders such as Tourette's Disorder (TD).We combine neuroimaging techniques (task-based and resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging and diffusion tensor imaging) with behavioral testing using a variety of experimental paradigms to better understand the mechanisms underlying attention, decision-making, and sensory processing in psychiatric disorders.

The Psychiatric NeuroCognition lab is directed by Dr. Emily Stern, Research Scientist at the Nathan Kline Institute and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the New York University School of Medicine.
