🎀 This weekend, our BMS Family Health and Wellness team walked 4 miles at the American Cancer Society Making Strides Against Breast Cancer in Coney Island. Breast cancer affects 1 in 8 women in the U.S., and we walked in honor of every survivor, fighter, and loved one impacted by this disease. 💖👟

We’re so proud of our team members—Provider Ann Mulle, Ashford Site Manager Elizabeth, Client Relations Tatiana Desdanges and Barbara, Development Manager Renee Muir, and EOC Cecilia—for showing up and making a difference. Together, we’re taking steps toward a future where no one has to fear a breast cancer diagnosis.

Let’s keep pushing for early detection, better treatments, and hope for all. 💪✨

🚶‍♀️✨ Together for Change! This past October 19th, our community, led by the incredible Allison Jones Harding and BMS staff, walked the streets of Brownsville to raise awareness for domestic violence. 🌟

🤝 Supported by Good Shepherd Services, Affinity by Molina Health Plan, HumanCare, Medicare, Help Roads, NYPD Community Affairs, Auxiliary, and the Department of Probation, the event was a tremendous success!

🥘 After the walk, we gathered for a hot meal, shared stories, and strengthened community ties. A special shout-out to Allison for her leadership and personal contributions, our staff and community partners that came out and donated their time.💖

Car-free Trick-or-Treating: Explore the spooky streets and collect treats in a safe environment!
Photo-Ops, Treats, and Fun: Capture memories with fun photo opportunities and enjoy delightful treats!

🎨 Face Painting & Balloon Twisting (3 PM - 5 PM)
🍿 Popcorn, Cotton Candy & Trick-or-Treating (3 PM - 6 PM)

Bring Your Pup (we will have treats for them too), Scooter, or Skateboard: Fun for all ages and abilities—everyone’s invited!

BMS Family Health and Wellness Centers hosted a march bringing awareness to Domestic Violence titled “Love Doesn’t Have to Hurt”.

BMS Allison Harding-Jones wore a wedding gown in honor of Gladys Ricart who was killed by her ex-husband on her wedding day in front of her family. It’s important to share experiences so that other lives may be saved.
