Culture, linguistic isolation, immigrant experience, and lack of health coverage impede A&PIs from receiving care and information they need. A&PI who identify as LGBTQI may experience additional isolation from within their own families and communities, causing LGBTQI A&PI to be more disadvantaged than A&PI who do not identify as LGBTQI.
