I get it.

I was ‘anti MLM’ about 10 years ago before I ever jumped into this industry- not really because I thought it was bad, but simply because for me my entire identity was so wrapped up in being a full time Yoga and paddleboard teacher and brick and mortar studio owner that the idea of selling a product or recruiting people into a business opportunity felt out of alignment with my ‘yogini’ self.

And- trading hours for dollars, and having my income be tied to my physical presence in the yoga studio or on the water felt normal, whereas monetizing social media or creating leveraged income through building and supporting a team was totally foreign.

Know better, do better.

When I understood the power of this model and this industry, it all clicked.

When I realized that this industry creates more female millionaires than any other I committed even more.

Now? I’m a lifer.

And to all the negative Nellie’s out there- don’t knock it till you try it.

This morning I woke up to suppper chilly 🥶 temps here in Florida…

The wool socks 🧦 and the winter jacket 🧥 came out for the drive to school.

Now it’s warmed up to about 60 and sunny… and all is right with the world again.

But it made me reflect.

That a super powerful but super scary decision I made 4.5 years ago brought me to this monent in time here in Florida ..

And has also allowed me to-

-Buy (and then sell) land in southern Nicaragua 🇳🇮

- Relocate part time to the jungle of Nicaragua for three years and allow Jahya to attend an international day school there (definitely an amazing and also challenging experience)

- Downsize my yoga and paddleboard business to a more sustainable and way more enjoyable level as opposed to relying on it as my sole source of income

- Rent a beautiful (second) home in Florida and live here for the school year

- Pay off 60k in debt

- Design my days - beach walks with the dogs, yoga classes, going to the gym, working in the pockets of my time from home.

And so much more.

It’s cliched but it’s true.

… ‘If the cost of going for it scares you, you should see the price of staying exactly where you are.’

For me- NOT creating a life of freedom that I absolutely loved wasn’t an option.

I joined this business on April 1 2021 with NO PLAN B.

Life is too short and our dreams are too important.

I don’t believe in quick fixes or overnight cures.

What I do believe in is lived experience.

It’s simply my experience and the reason I’ll never go back.

Sometimes healing starts with understanding what your body has been asking for all along.

(PS- the first photo is me a month or so back in California - people ask me all the time to post photos of my skin during my 4.5 year long battle with chronic and debilitating eczema but …. I deleted EVERY SINGLE PHOTO because it was such a painful and difficult time in my life that I didn’t want the memories of it in my phone.
I can tell you this- it wasn’t pretty, but beyond the vanity piece of things it was deeply uncomfortable and painful and affected every single area of my life.

We are all worthy of VIBRANT HEALTH.

Once I understood what this water was doing in my body, I couldn’t un-know it.

I made the switch, felt the shift, and I’m never going back.
This is something I’ll always stand behind.
