Kawauchi has done cosplay, conquered Guinness records, and now a World Major Marathon, his legend continues to grow. I was lucky to treat Kawauchi 3 times during his trips to NYC with a combination of manual physical therapy and acupuncture. I became an immediate fan of his steadfast approach to running while living a normal life as an office worker in Japan.
