Curious about what happens after your session? Here is the standard "Skin Journey" for most patients:

🗓️ Day 1: Skin may feel a bit warm (like a mild sunburn). This is normal!
🗓️ Day 3-5: Pigment starts to darken and may look like "coffee grounds." This means the light did its job.
🗓️ Day 7-10: Those spots naturally flake off, revealing a brighter-looking tone underneath. 💎

The most important rule? SPF is your best friend. 🧴 Protecting your results is the key to a long-lasting glow.

Caitlyn Scheuerman, PA
Physician Assistant

Caitlyn is a board-certified Physician Assistant through the NCCPA. She earned her Bachelor and Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies from Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (now MCPHS University) in Boston.

A New Jersey native, Caitlyn joined Dr. Kurzman Cosmetic Dermatology in 2017 after several years of dermatology experience in Brooklyn and New Jersey. ✨

She practices medical and cosmetic dermatology and enjoys caring for patients of all ages, with experience in injectables, laser services, microneedling, and comprehensive facial care.

Outside the office, Caitlyn enjoys painting, traveling, and cheering on the New York Giants. We’re so lucky to have her as part of our team and know our patients truly benefit from her thoughtful, personalized approach. ✨
